The design challenge was to create a set of orderly layouts that would present dynamically generated information.

We employed in addition to extensive use of Cascading Style Sheets for the formatting of the resulting output, XSL transformation templates for laying out the data, which is encoded in XML by the TripAdvisor search engine technology.
