The Crosstown Foundation for the Arts
Crosstown Art engages in environmentally and socially responsible
artistic and architectural investigations.
Our mission has evolved since our inception in 1999, from publishing the
fine and applied arts via the Internet,
to directing attention to small scale urban and natural habitats
in need of responsible, sustainable and accessible design.
We have proposed and designed architectural interventions from Downtown Boston and the
neighborhoods to certified organic
farms in New Hampshire. We are constructing a Passive House mixed use building in South Boston.
We have contemplated designs for a Sicilian Fisherman's
Tribute on Long Wharf in Boston, and the re-design of the oldest public plaza in Boston, the North Square.
As of this writing, December 2024 - this site is still under construction.
